People came to the event from 11:00-3:00, and the place was pretty busy the whole time. The girls had a competition to see how many kids could play their games- bean bag toss or a frisbee toss. They each had over 150 when they started loosing count! They gave out so much candy, invites to Easter4Kids, church services, and summer soccer camp.
There was a band playing the whole time, people were in a good mood from getting free stuff at each booth, and we had a great time feeling like we were part of the community.

We also loved seeing all of the historic homes lining the streets near the Scharf's house. We used the "house map" to learn a little bit about each home we passed including many generations who have all lived in these old houses, and stories about the civil war.

Loving being able to walk outside in March! So many pretty trees and flowers.
We love the southern hospitality we've been receiving down here- lots of hugs when meeting for the first time (and every time after!) and even more food! Some great accents too. Our hosts are so kind! :)
