Day 4: Bravery Day

Monday was our first day of work at the church. We folded brochures, counted fliers into groups, and a few of us put on a brave face to call all of the people who entered our “guess the number of jellybeans in a jar” game from Saturday’s fun fair.

After lunch we canvassed the neighborhoods leaving invites for Easter services and Easter4Kids. It was sunny and a gorgeous 60 degrees and most of the students were loving life in shorts again.

While the group was still out canvassing, Katya and I drove into Atlanta to pick up Lauren who flew in later since she was at Band Fest.

 From 5:00 to 7:00 (while more people would be home) we knocked on doors to invite people to church and give them info about Abiding Grace. We especially went to new neighborhoods where people had recently moved in. Each pair had a few good conversations or met people who agreed to be on church’s mailing list.
