Day 3: Sunday Sun Day!

Sunday was our first time at the church Abiding Grace. We came for Bible study, church, and a beautiful afternoon choir concert by Michigan Lutheran Seminary students.

Went spent some free time before dinner at a park and soaked up the sun in 60 degrees. Gorgeous!

Another member had us over for dinner and nice chats. They are a retired couple with the most interesting hobbies that keep them busy! They go ballroom dancing and also work on their mini trains. They have a train track around their house that they built and test out their trains on. The rails are about 7 inches apart, and you can sit on and ride on top of these cute toy-like trains. He says it's a kind of crazy community of adults that build and ride on mini trains, but you could see how much fun it was too. They travel all around the country bringing their trains in a trailer and setting them up on specially sized tracks for these enthusiasts.
